Learning Resource Centre

The College provides a range of different types of study environments designed to meet students’ individual needs and learning preferences. These include the George Thompson Library, silent study area, JC Larkin Study Centre, Study Hub and group study rooms.

Social and Dining Space

Social and Dining Space

Dining areas are provided in the Main Building and James Went Building; offering a range of hot and cold food, snacks and drinks. The College is currently undergoing an exciting project to refurbish and double the student social and dining space. This project is due to be complete in Spring 2013.

Teaching

Teaching

All classrooms at QE are all well equipped with a projector and computer as standard. Departments also have their own extensive ILT resources. Wi-Fi access further enhances access to IT in the classroom, laboratory and beyond.

Specialist Facilities

Specialist Facilities

The James Went Building offers purpose built accommodation for Art & Design subjects, Performing Arts and Accounting, Business and Economics. Specialist science facilities incorporate state-of-the-art facilities for teaching and learning. The IT facilities, sports hall and grounds are all of a high standard.
