Next Exhibition - 'Vesch' : Leicester Lo-Fi Photography

Leicester Lo-Fi is a group of Leicester based photographers that embrace the traditional aspects of photography by using old film cameras, toy cameras, pin holes, alternative processes and darkroom printing etc. The diverse group’s members range from complete novices, students through to professional photographers and artists. They have regular meetings to swap ideas, take pictures, make prints, set projects and hold exhibitions.

Vesch is a Russian word with no direct translation but essentially it means an object endowed with human spirit or 'objects with a soul’. The only rules were that the images had to be taken with a film camera and or printed using traditional / alternative techniques.

Exhibition: Thursday 26th April – Friday 4th May

Open to students and public: 9.00am – 4.00pm

'Coming to QE gives you opportunities to play new sports. There’s a great range of enrichment options and excellent sports facilities. You get the chances to play a high level of sport as most teams enter the regional British Colleges Tournaments. The College also supports students who are selected to take part in national trials.'
